Even if Government put retaining wall people will go and throw their garbage over the wall and blame Government for their stupidity. Most of the flooding is caused from garbage that was thrown in the drains river gullies the sea you name it people can do better disposed of your garbage properly please help the Government to keep the toxins from the wild life by not throwing your waste out there.

Videos like this from "real", everyday people are far better than the so called "news". You'll never see a video like this on the news that shows an overview of damage (or lack of it) after a hurricane, if there's a single destroyed house, the news cameras will zoom right in on it so there's nothing else visible in the frame and that's what will be broadcast far and wide around the world, no context, no overview, no relative framing, just panic mongering and constant amping up of destruction and tragedy (don't forget to throw in some global warming hysteria for good measure!). This simple video by a normal person shows what REALLY happened - very little.
